Saddie grew up on the rodeo grounds, it's what her parents did. Not to brag but she knows that she's awesome at all the events, yet none of them give her that thrill she seeks, except for bullriding. No one really likes her given that she's been accused of lying about being assaulted and that the only people that actually tolerate her are the guys behind the chutes with her. She almost didn't even want to come to the biggest rodeo event of the year knowing that he would be there, but she decided to just ignore him and win some events.
Layla had no parents growing up due to a freak accident when she was a baby so she was raised by her grandparents who enjoyed going to watch all the rodeos which made Layla want to participate. She mostly barrel races but still does just about any other event that there is, except for the stock riding. She is new to the area and had no friends so she planned to keep to herself unless sought out.
By fate they meet on the first day and they instantly had a connection, Saddie is a closeted bi, and Layla is openly a lesbian. They casually flirt with one another to see who will break first.
This is my first story I have decided to pursue so please no harsh comments and I will be open to as much advice as offered. I know I'm not the greatest at going into great detail but I will try my best.
I'm still technically not done writing the story yet, I started it with pen and paper when I was bored one night. I'm hoping to find the motivation to finish writing it out. Let me know if it feels like there is anything missing and I will try to accommodate.
