After the Ninja used the Dragon Cores to stabilize the world and stop the Merge Quakes, the world was finally at peace once again. But in the shadows, Lord Ras and his master have only started their plan. To stop them, the Ninja might need to join forces with a new ally, Grace, as they all find out where they got their elemental powers... and their beginnings.

But then, there's a tournament. Things quickly swift their attention to a clearly rigged competition, where the Ninja are greeted with all kinds of new elemental masters. Are they friends or foes? Only time will tell, as this marks the villains getting closer to executing their plan...and they might find a betrayer amongst the fighters...
