Lee JongSuk hates leaving things up to fate, it's never been too good to him, he lives every day one day at a time trying to survive school and a terrible home life. Im Yoona has never had to struggle, the only child of two doting parents, she's grown up with love , and sees the world as a place of light and love , when she's paired with the quiet boy for a school project,she realizes while her world is full of light and warmth,his world is full of cold and darkness. A friendship forms between the two. Meanwhile Lee BoYoung is a nurse at a hospital she's only cared about her career ,but when JongSuk is brought to the hospital one day she finds herself drawn to the boy and decides to become his guardian. Kim Woobin has never really been the protective type so why does he feel the need to protect JongSuk especially after he finds out his past.
