The Lover's Curse

To love is to be cursed.

Valen, a good-looking young man and skilled swordsman, leads a comfortable life, content to adventure with his closest companions: Joan, a nontraditional warrior-priest, and Luke Amias, a handsome young knight and Valen's best friend. Unfortunately for him, comfort is fleeting. A poorly timed love confession, an arranged betrothal, a mythic sword, and the awakening of an ancient vampire turn the poor boy's life on its head.

Now afflicted with vampirism and desperate for vengeance, he will have to learn to live with his curse or risk succumbing to it.
