Izzy has, she knows everyone and everyone knows her, though no one messes with her. She meets the so called bad boy, only to find him ruining her locker space. Really, school board? Really? But, Izzy has other things to worry about, her freaking race is going to war. Again. And this time she's supposed to be in it. Dear Dad

After an accident at work that killed his father, Rhyder Jonesave has to move from Florida to California. He starts off his freshman year of high school knowing no one and having no friends. He soon meets the most beautiful girl he has ever seen. After attempting to strike up some conversation he realizes that there is something different about Anabella, she cannot speak. But, Rhyder will not let that stop him from getting to know her better. They soon fall in love and go through high school by each other's side. They're always there for each other, no matter what life decides to throw at them, because life is a beautifully mixed up thing.
