Title: Small People Description: Kayne Ray has spent his life being overshadowed-by his towering Vareshian lineage, by his powerful older brother, and most of all, by the cruel legacy of his father, a man feared for his hatred of humans. Unlike his family, Kayne wants nothing to do with the supremacy that shaped his childhood, but breaking free from his past has left him isolated, awkward, and adrift in a city built for giants like him. Everything changes the day he accidentally injures a human woman in a dark alley. Small enough to fit in the palm of his hand, Val is delicate, wary, and utterly alone. Wracked with guilt, Kayne takes her into his apartment to recover, intending to send her on her way. But days pass, and neither of them seem eager for her to leave.
