The original title was "Percabeth Neighbors" but I changed it :D Annabeth Chase has always been abused. Her father more or less ignores it, or pretends his wife is just a perfect angel. Annabeth has seen things nobody else has, including scars and blood worthy of a murder scene. Nobody seems to want to help her. Percy Jackson just got a restart, but was his new life actually better? Bad luck struck his family, friends, and even his little sister. His grades slip, and dark thoughts seep into his mind. There's no way he'll survive with the harm he's facing. The Lone Guardian (A Percy Jackson Fanfiction)
For once in Percy Jackson's life everything is peaceful, but when tragedy strikes, he is left alone. His closest friends and family all died in a seemingly random monster attack and his mom and Paul died in an accident. Consumed with grief, he goes to the gods wishing for death. Instead, they offer him a new purpose in life as Guardian of the Hunt. Percy accepts the opportunity to create a new family and regains some of the happiness he lost. But what if the monster attack that killed his friends, and Annabeth, wasn't random? Suddenly, Percy is caught in another war and is forced to face another enemy. Now, not only will he have to be the Guardian of the Hunt, but the Guardian of his home and, hopefully, find peace, once and for all. *Disclaimer for whole story: I own nothing but the plot and a few minor characters. Life of A Young Demigod: Book 1 (Percy Jackson reader insert)
COMPLETED! This is a m!reader-insert fic based in the Percy Jackson universe, as I imagine you can tell. I'm just starting this (as of early March 2023), and have very little writing experience, at least with this style, so forgive me if it begins a bit rough, I will likely go back and clean things up later on once I'm a bit more experienced. I intend this to be fairly strict in terms of major canon relationships and such, I don't have a problem with people who change them and actually quite like a number of stories that do, but I'd like to try something other than the 50th readerxannabeth fic (dont yell at me I actually enjoy those). I also will not be having (Y/N) "take Percy's place" in any way. Again, I have no problem with others who write this way, but it is not how I want to do it. I grew up with Rick's superb writing, and I don't intend to make any fundamental changes to Percy's story. It is great as is and I don't exactly feel qualified to change it. Perhaps I will get more ambitious as I go along, but I am fairly certain of this at the moment. (Y/N)'s story is complimentary. It will of course involve many changes to events, new events, and even slight lore changes to make things work, but it will all make sense within the original framework and hopefully won't be too jarring. In terms of long term plans. I aim to at least get through the end of HoO. That'll probably take a good year or so, so I think that's a solid aim for now. I'm from Long Island, so expect a LOT of specific LI and NY references here and there. Think of them as fun easter eggs :) Books one and two are going to fairly brief compared to the later ones. They're not short by any means, they'll be a solid 3 hour read each, but the later ones will be notably longer. Enjoy!Terminé
