Oliver Jones is a boy who just entered high school. Who is too tall for his weight, and walks like a skeleton compared to the other students. This boy is ginger and is too positive about the world. He is not airhead, but a smart wallflower. He doesn't talk much, because he believes that everyone deserves their chance to speak, and he is just waiting for his chance.

This teenager is different because his family life.

He watches his mother down a bottle of anti-depressants whenever his alcoholic father runs away to the bars. This teenager has to pick up the mess whenever his mother decides that she isn't skinny enough and drowns her face into a toilet. Oliver's best friend is his mother, and slowly he is starting to realize that his mother is drowning herself away. Whenever he was younger he remembers her only tearing up because of beautiful moments. Now he watches her cry every night, and is waiting to tell the poor soul how he feels about her and for her to change her ways. 

But what happens whenever his mother finally overdoses and finds herself six feet under. Will his actions change? Or will they worsen and he will he be influenced to follow in his mother’s footsteps?
