All her life, Taylor had only been living with her mom and aunt since her father was absent. Meeting him just a few times was clearly enough times for him and her mom. 
    
    She had learnt some things about him though. She learnt that he was a pathetic drunk who didn't care for the family that he had made. But that's just what her mom and aunt told her. She didn't know if it was actually true.
    
    Taylor also had a brother named Robby. They were half siblings. Same dad, different mom. She only rarely saw Robby. Her mom told Taylor that she wasn't allowed to see her dad or brother, and she never knew why.
    
    But one day, Taylor's mom decides that Taylor should stay with her father until she gets better. From then on, everything about Taylor's life changes.
