[He stormed towards her and slid his hand under her left cheek and kissed her like never before. A kiss that was filled with anger, disappointment and intense passion. A kiss that could convey a goodbye.
She placed her hands on his chest taken aback by his sudden action, her eyes squinted with the intensity of his kiss and she was losing her breath. Suddenly he took his lips back and placed his head on hers, both panting for air, but their eyes did not meet. And then what he said next swept off the land from under Maadhavi's feet.
'I will never touch you again.'
