OLD: While I'm very proud for this being my first completed major project, it's still old as hell, several things make 0 sense and there's a lot of random convoluted stuff and little consistency, especially in characters. This was something I wrote to escape when I was down and often sleep-deprived so I just wrote what I felt like in the moment. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ITS SEQUELS. If that isn't your thing, I wouldn't recommend this.

Hiccup begins to suffer from night terrors that make him want to stay along with battling his own mental condition. Things go south again when an unexpected traitor hands Hiccup over to the ones who want to destroy him mentally and physically. Meanwhile back at Berk, Stoick was furious rampaging through his house looking over numerous different maps. He was desperate to find his son. So desperate he would do anything to get him back. Little does he know, that not only the mysterious kidnapper is overly skilled, but also an old friend whom Stoick was best friends with for years.

The name is given to those who won't survive their first winter. Those who don't belong, those who will not be any more than a burden. Hiccup isn't an exception to this. I mean, sure he survived his first winter, and the next fifteen. But he caused problems, not on purpose. Things just happened when he was around. First when he was six, and a nearby furnace blew up when he lost his temper. Then when he was eight, nine, eleven. These strange happenings kept occurring, and nothing he did helped. Everything he did, everything he tried had some way of turning back on him. For the longest time he believe that the God's cursed him. But now, now he finds the blessings in the curse. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I really hope you enjoy this fanfic!! It focus' on Hiccup being a bit more than human. I am thinking more like connected to dragons, and Toothless as a whole.
