Set in 1898, Baltimore Maryland, 16 year old Helen Evans father John Evans has recently passed away by what was declared a suicide, but Helen is not buying it. Her siblings Anna, Mary, Ethel, James, and Charles. believe that she should let go, so does their mother Margret. But she wont give up. When she meets the new strange boy in town named Elias Bennett and partners up with him to solve her fathers murder, a romance begins blooming. Will she give up her mission and confess her love to him or will she stick to the mission and get trapped in the inability to let go.
