**Rewritten!! I went back and reread the original, and boy howdy, was it BAAAADDD. Lots of things I'm not crazy about, but have done way more research, and hopefully improved my writing to the point where I can make this fic way, way better than before! I hope you guys all enjoy, and be sure to let me know what you think!
Also, once again, the Beetlejuice in this fan fiction is based on the one in the musical, but feel free to imagine him however you want! :D

Heyyy so this is a fanfiction based off of the Netflix film "Rim of the World." It has y/n (your name) as the love interest for Gabriel. This story includes all of the major events from the original movie, but as the author of this fanfic, I obviously took a few (okay, a lot) creative liberties by writing new scenes and changing some things around just to make the story flow better. Since I am human, I am obviously going to make some spelling and grammatical mistakes throughout the book, but I do my best to go back and revise/edit so that it is as correct as possible. (Grammarly is about to come in clutch😂) Also, I forgot to mention that there is just a little bit of smut that I added in the later chapters, (besides the innuendo from the movie) but it is not that detailed and it is over very quickly. That being said, I still will warn you before it comes up so that you can scroll past it if you prefer. There's also a lot of cursing, just like in the movie. A Beetlejuice x Oc fanfic where my self insert, Amber Deetz, is written into both movies and ends up having a...rather strange relationship with the ghost with the most. So far, most of the fanfic is a retelling of the movie but with Amber, aka me, inserted into the story. However I want to write so much more of their relationship with Beetlejuice, both before and after the second movie, so anything written after Chapter 10 will be oneshots. BTW; if anyone wants to request oneshots for this fic, I would be overjoyed if you did :) Amber Deetz is 25 during the events of the first movie for anyone who's wondering. Constructive criticism is welcome, but not unnecessary bashing. I understand I'm not perfect, thanks. Also, the first part of this story takes place in the early 1800's, while the latter part takes place in modern times (to find out why you should read it lol :p). Due to this, I have done extensive research to make the times as accurate as possible. With that having been said, the only inaccuracy that I can think of is the fact that the school of Juilliard (lol yup you heard that right ;p) wasn't founded until 1905. But for the sake of my timeline and laziness, we're gonna pretend it was around in 1810, okay? Okay thanks. The Beetlejuice in this fic is based on the one in the musical, not the movie or show.
