Dream, a 24 year old Minecraft YouTuber wakes up one morning in a startling sweat due to a dream he had that was, for him, rather concerning. It leads him to question what's happening to him, and soon enough, uncovering things he didn't know about himself before.
Along the way of discovering who his true self is, Dream experiences hardships and more, spiraling his life into a deep hole that he won't be able to crawl out of easily.

- NOTE: This story is written by 2 people, Kish (me) and Gen. If the writing seems choppy or chaotic, then you'll know why, because we take turns writing.

i hear footsteps behind me. i try to get up but struggle to because of the wound in my side. i shift my body to see Technoblade walking towards me. "Techno i'm fine, really." i say, frustrated. he doesn't respond, instead, he kneels beside me and looks at my wounds. he lifts up my shirt to show the stab wound on my side, blood spilling from it. "who did it?" he asks. "what-" "who stabbed you?" he asks, anger lingering in his voice. "why does it matter?" "just tell me." he asks, anger being replaced with eagerness. "Schlatt." i mumble. the pain in my side increases by the second. Technoblade looks up from me, to Schlatt, who holds a sword with my blood dripping off of it. Technoblade stands up from beside me, and approaches Schlatt, drawing his axe. "what's wrong Techno? i was doing you a favor. it's not like you even liked her in the first place." Schlatt said, smiling. What was meant to be an easy quest in a woodland mansion goes wrong and the encounter with its magical inhabitants leaves Dream cursed so that anyone who sees his face will instantly fall in love with him. Now it's up to George to save his best friend before the curse turns deadly. Can he break the curse without his own feelings getting in the way? A realistic medieval minecraft au that I haven't really thought out too well. This is mostly about exploring the relationship between Dream and George because I think they have a very beautiful friendship. Originally posted and completed on ao3 because I didn't have a cover for wattpad. The plan was for me to draw a cool cover because I like to think I'm a pretty good artist, but I'm also lazy so here's a stock photo I put text over.
