Keeler looked out the viewport. He couldn't see much, most of the view taken up by drifting clumps of wreckage and clouds of frozen oil and plasma spewing from ruptured tanks. But in the distance, looming majestically over the chaos, was the UFS Macedon. The flagship of the United Federation Star Fleet. The jewel of the federation. The harbinger of salvation for its citizens and doom for its enemies. A quarter of the size of Old Earth's moon, it blotted out the stars, shining with blinding silver radiance. Massive gun emplacements arched devastation into the retreating Peccardin fleet, destroying Dreadnoughts and Destroyers with a single blast.

After many failed attempts to remove the spore infection and the intelligent lifeforms that brought it known as the Irinaut, several large ships were sent into space to save the human race, but some people remained. Those who stayed, either had no choice in the matter or were part of the expedition crews. The people who were looking for some sort of cure all. Some, scientists looking to communicate or even experiment on the Irinaut race. Though it wasn't only the infection they had to worry about. Infected Irinaut were aggressive, and finding one without the sickness at this point was seeming out of reach with no hopes of communicating. That is, until now. A group of soldiers had been left with a task of transporting precious cargo. After several facilities being attacked by the estranged Irinaut, a young soldier known as Raven, finds herself curious to why this Irinaut is so important in finding. The being wasn't like other's any of them had seen. They wanted to know how it was possible in the world that was nothing but desert, and infection. 0-Sa was also alone, which was unusual for the species. The Irinaut became valuable quite quickly, having found no spore infection visibly on him. The team had one job, obtain and return the creature alive, but they would soon come to find out that the cargo would be more difficult to transport than they thought.Complete

Earth and humanity were saved, and the little planet to thank for their salvation was named Umbra. Alice is a xenoarchaeologist, her passion in life has always been the study of ancient cultures, and now she has the opportunity to study the most ancient one of them all. These alien lifeforms were capable of controlling human bodies, infecting them with their black dust, impregnating fertile human female's, and growing the Irinaut's massive companions, the Yeti's, a less evolved version of the Irinaut. Earth is gone. Nothing more then a ball of dust. After the people fled on ships, they traveled to their new hope. It was a place of solitude. The human race was able to flee from the foreign infection, but for how long? Luna was frozen on the ship. For nearly a 200 years, their ship had traveled. Many people had been placed in a cryogenic state. That of which kept them from aging as they made their way out of the infection. For them, a place of safety, The Solar Sun. The Solar Sun space ship was the closest landing unit in the solar system.
