This is a short story for participation in a writing contest/challenge in the 'Once Upon A December 2023' event held by some collaboration between 8 Wattpad ambassador accounts and 5 from the Wattpad community. The prompt taken is from the Wattpad account @WattpadAlternateUniverse, the winter prompt chosen is, "You wish for lots of snow this winter, but the last thing you expect is to wake up in a world stuck in an ice age."
