Sibilla lives in a world where an Alpha didn't exist for more that 800 years. At that time, every pack had his own Beta as a leader that reported to the Alpha.
Now the idea is long forgotten and the Betas are referred to as Aphas of their packs. Along with it, the idea of mates and marking ceased as well.
To make herself work better in the modern society, Sibilla plans for the future on her travel to explore the Grand Peak.
Little does she know what her future is actually planning for her.
