Miles Thatcher is a mild mannered young mobian blue fox, who lives on planet Mobius after the great Roborg war. Many people of Mobius find themselves to be partial robotic creatures due to a process known as "Roboticization" not by choice, but by force thanks to the evil Dr. Lvo Roborg and his assistant Dr. Moneta Enola. While the two doctors were defeated by the hero group known as "The Emerald Guardians," Mobius finds itself divided on whether roboticized citizens should return to their original selves, or stay roboticized. Miles will find that he will not be able to stay on the sidelines, as his life will soon change due to a fateful encounter that will result in him becoming a new guardian of Mobius: Sonrisa Soro.

A rebellion has formed in the kingdom of Mobius. Led by the determined Shadow the Hedgehog, a group of assembled bandits have assembled to dethrone the current ruler: Miles "Tails" Prowler. With the defenders of the kingdom strained thin, the victory seems eminent. Until a deformed, metal-coated warrior steps forward to meet the threat. Sonic the Hedgehog. Follow Sonic and Shadow as the two heroes fight for true rule over the kingdom of Mobius, and claim what each truly believes to be justice. Fall into Chaos is meant to be my love-letter to the series. While this can still be enjoyed with a minimal understanding of the series, it does help to know your stuff! The story is meant to really unravel the characters of the franchise I love. Really highlight their flaws, strengths, motivations, all that. And it was fun imagining a darker tone to Sonic the Hedgehog, like seeing a meaningful struggle for Sonic *coughcoughSonicForcescough*. Lastly, trust me, I know what this is. A Sonic fan story. But, don't worry. The fan characters are non-existent...kinda. The story is actually cohesive, makes for what I truly think is a thought-provoking, genuinely fun story! With a much darker force looming over them, everyone is plunged into a war that will decide the fate of the universe as they look for the Chaos Emeralds, which Sonic had scattered during his first battle with the villainous Dark Oak, leader of the Metarex. During this time, Tails and Cosmo grow close and feelings start to develop, as does a sisterly bond between Cosmo, Creecha's daughter Grace, and Wallflower Blush, but with the Metarex War going on and Cosmo's own insecurities surfacing after facing a lot of trauma, those bonds will be tested as they travel through space to end the war once and for all.
