~Baldur's Gate Fanfiction / Expansion on Gale Romance~

Aera was in Baldur's Gate one moment, then aboard a Mind Flayer vessel the very next. She, like many others, was infected with the tadpole that would ultimately turn her into the monster that held her captive. When the chance to escape arrives, her and some allied strangers somehow manage to survive the vessel crashing to the beach below. 

Aera meets many companions, but Gale of Waterdeep seems to take an interest to her. After being mistreated for so long, will she learn how to love and trusta man once more? Will she be able to keep him--and her other companions-- alive as they continue their journey to Baldur's Gate? 

Follow an author OC throughout the events of Baldur's Gate 3. A lot of the events will stay the same, as will some of the main dialogue scenes with the companions, but much content will be added to ensure more depth to the characters and their connections. I hope you enjoy!
