Carina Abruzzo never asked for the life she was born into, nor would she wish it upon her worst enemy. That is, the life of the Italian mafia. Having to deal with the ghost of a shell mother, incarcerated deadbeat father, and hothead brother who wants to take over as head of their crime family, she has enough on her plate. So when she gets kidnapped after witnessing a murder committed by the mob's worst enemy, the Irish mafia, and is taken to their hotspot, Hell's Kitchen, it's safe to say she's done with life. There, she meets a mellow redhead known as Alroy Bigley, who conveniently also hates the mob life, and they decide to do something about it. But their rebellion will create the spark that lights the flame. And everyone will get burnt.
