Taylor Martin had never forgotten that first time the Upside-Down hit Hawkins, Indiana. She was the most popular girl. She joins the cheer team, makes new friends, and goes to parties. She does everything to keep herself away from her past, but then someone catches her eye. or she catches someone else's eye.

Cameron Brown didn't care about anything except for popularity. In 1883, he moved from Sacramento to what he called a 'boring' in Indiana. He only cared about popularity which meant, being captain of the basketball team, dating girls, and having more friends. He didn't know about the Upside-Down, but one day he is going to know.

When he met Tay, he acted the same way he always did to a girl his age. He flirted as much as he possibly could. In doing so, he strayed farther from winning over her. But something changed one night. Taylor is not the only one with a dirty secret. But did it change for the better or worse?
