Cassandra Louis was the prodigy of her father, wealthy businessman in Los Angeles, and she honestly couldn't care less about her father's business ventures. She'd rather be in a room by herself or with friends, painting, sketching, dancing or singing. Her father infuriated her.

She does everything she can to hide that one dark, conniving, evil part of herself from everyone, despite having already exposed it to her father a year prior, which resulted in a six month stay at a mental facility.

When James March discovers the daughter of the new owner of the Hotel Cortez, his first instinct was that she was just a simple 23 year old that would end up dying by the hands of one of the spirits, but is proven wrong when he finds her zoned out one day in the bar.

Could it be, this girl was just what he and the Countess needed?
