SPOILERS:
Post Episode 13, Season 8 of Voltron Legendary Defenders AU
After two long, lonely years of sulking in his own self loathing and wallowing in the depression that coddled, swaddling his body, clouding his mind and hazing his thoughts, Lance Has a break. He needs to see his friends again, he can't keep living like this, crying himself to sleep over the death of his once young love, he needs an out. He resorts to getting back in contact with Shiro, the former Leader to all of the paladins, now retired and living happily with his husband and two children, asking him for advice in person of his fellow paladins whereabouts. And so, He goes on misson to track down his friends, striving, and with a burning hunger to do something more with the life he was given, which is how he finds himself wound up becoming Keith Kogane's, his longest sworn rival and his closest friends right hand man in rebuilding, reforming the Galra empire into a society of peace and utmost understanding between it's people.
