Twelve years. Twelve years full of love, passion, friendship, and secrets. Twelve years of endless nights underneath the stars, hot mornings by the beach, and long afternoons out in town. Half of my life I spent with him. Cohen was my best friend. He was everything a girl could ask for. His dark curly hair and green blue eyes were perfect with his pale skin. He was taller than I, like most people were. He was also very chiseled and rugged. Cohen lived next door to me my whole life, causing our parents to be extremely close. In fact, our dads worked together and also shared the same name. It was as if we were meant to be. Or so I thought.
Aspen Jones only had one boyfriend her whole life: Cohen Jacobs. Ever since they were little kids they were inseparable. As they grew older, their friends teased them over how in love they were. It was at Aspen and Cohen’s friend’s wedding they had decided to take a break from their twelve year journey of love and passion. Cohen decides that over the summer they should hold off their relationship and try out their options, and if they don’t find anything else they want, then they’ll know their meant to be together. Aspen is heartbroken, realizing that all she ever thought about was her and Cohen’s future together.
Luckily Aspen has River: Her and Cohen’s friend from high school who she is extremely close to. River takes Aspen to London to try to help her forget about Cohen and have fun.
As the summer goes on, will Aspen get over Cohen? Will she realize there’s more out there? Will Cohen find someone else?
They always said, if you ever want something badly, let it go. If it comes back to you, then it's yours forever. If it doesn't, then it was never yours to begin with. I guess this was the theory Cohen and I were testing.

Sneek peek
"He is the BET "
"What do you mean?"
"Ok your apparently in love with Nate already your acting slow. Anyways let's bet that if you get him to take you to prom. I will tell the group I was the one who lied. But if you do not succeed I get to tease you and Cat the rest of the year with no uprisings."
Cat suddenly rushed into the conversation " If you to do a bet i am notkoo gonna pay if it comes out your way so leave me out."
I love bets because I never lose so..
"Ok I will do it but leave Cat out of it."I said so seriously.
We shake on it I had six months to get Nate to fall in love with me enough for him to take me to prom it won't be easy.
Will she really not get involved and stick to the Bet read and find out!
