This is a dark fantasy story about knights involved in war and suppressing a rebellion. Commander Livoris and his faithful knights Held, Hammy, Brada and the sorceress Lancy go through harsh obstacles together. They each have their own reasons for being in the King's army. And for those simple or terrible reasons, each is willing to give body and soul for the Crown and the King.
