When Nathias's best friend, Clea, leaves her infant daughter in his care, he resolves to raise her the way that Clea would want. But things aren't that simple. Nathais is the only son of Hades and Persephone. Clea is a child of Apollo, a god who flat out refuses to let some kid of the Underworld, of all things, raise his grandchild. So Apollo, in all of his meddling godliness, sends in one of his more responsible sons to monitor this entire mess. No one expects what happens next--except maybe Aphrodite.
