Neven, a young tavern in search of adventure, is saved by Gwen, a lady with a mysterious past. He asks her to become his apprentice, initially retifying the young woman accepts before the determination of the young man. Together, they head to the forest of Fraem to train and discover its true strength. But on their way, they meet oppressed minors, which awakens in Neven a desire for justice. Determined to change the fate of his kingdom, he decides to overthrow the corrupt king and give power to the people.
