Twelve-year-old Jessica (Jessie) Olivet and Jaxon Riley, are accidentally thrown together when their families - both on impromptu summer vacations - coincidentally run out of gas in a remote country area, mere feet from each other.
Both families meet.
The women of Jaxon's family bond instantly with Jessie's mother and six-month-old baby brother - even the fathers get along.
