This is a story that takes place in the 1800s-1900s about how four ladies stumble on their love stories and navigate the reality of it in a male dominated world, hopefully with true love.

"Tom, i said no" Lilac said as she looked directly at tom.
Tom let's go of James and storms off. James chuckled while saying "Have you tamed him? or is he just in love with you?"
Lilac rolled her eyes at her brother's statement and went to find her ladies.


Leia looked over her shoulder and sees Lilac with a disgruntled look on her face.
"hey, what's up?" Leia asked concerned.
 
"Why can't men be honest?" Lilac rolled her eyes and took a sip of her wine.

Skylar adds in
"Well, men can behave like nincompoops sometimes"

Rose unfazed, nods her head in agreement while taking a bite of her scone.
