DREAM is about two highschool students who live in Japan, Haruto Bushida and Yume Kuroki. Haruto is nervous on his first day at a new school, it's quite overwhelming especially considering the fact he's already in the 11th grade. Unfortunately he and his family are quite poor and hardly able to afford to live in their small apartment. Haruto's first day and it's already going bad, he sits by that one "creepy girl" in almost all of his classes for some reason, people are already making fun of him, he has no one to sit with at lunch. Things escalate even more in the Cafeteria when he gets tripped by one of the class bullies the following day and spills food all over the floor, can it really get worse than that? After his little trip it's like suddenly everyone is staring at him, laughing, until someone helps him up. She looked familiar to Haruto, but the question is who is she? Once he gets a closer look it's the same girl that sits next to him in his classes. "Come to think of it.... I never got her name-.."

Hikiko

Shiroyama Hikiko is just another Japanese high school girl, attending a mixed High School in Tokyo, dreaming of becoming a rich chemist so that she could support her mother and herself. However, all her dreams are crushed when she becomes the target of three high school bullies, Aoi, Ami and Yuna, after being falsely accused of sleeping with Aoi's boyfriend. All Hikiko can do now is pray the girls don't take the bullying one step too far; she lives in fear, letting her dreams fade away. But, after a whole year, Hikiko seems to find a way to stop everything. The answer seems to hide in an old Japanese urban legend about Hikiko-san. Hikiko performs what the legend says one is supposed to do but nothing seems to be happening until she dials a strange number she saw on a subway train. From then on, things start to get better for Hikiko but terrible for her enemies.
