At the age of 25 Ambitious Coriolanus Snow had restored the house of snow in a manner of only a few years, now he sets his sights on becoming president with the current one in speculation of his mysterious declining health. But enter Drusilla von Tougaard, a past star pupil of Gaul's, daughter of a decorated war hero and the capitol's youngest professor who captures the attention of a certain blonde.
He knew he needed her, a strong foundation for the future. She knew how to make things last. But what Drusilla knew most was a man's pride was something they would die for, and that's what Drusilla became. A manifestation of his pride.

Out of desperation and complete lack of food, Coriolanus and his cousin Tigress go out scavenging.
