Eight Reasons to Rebel is a fantasy novel that I have been writing for about a year and a half now and soon to be published as either a book or online.
In a society spit into eight different kingdoms each representing a unique element, only the royal families process their kingdoms power.
The oldest heir of each kingdom must prove their worth in the spiritus trials, where the winner receives dominant control of Edrea for the next 25 years. To train for this the eight must attend a school where they must build alliances and find potential enemies. Through forbidden romances and shocking betrayals, will the succeed their parents crowns or will they fall when they discover something that can change the fate of their world forever.

Eliora May, a lifetime citizen of Maplemaw, is something many women are not. Literate. An activist. But these become hard to complete as all is stripped away from her with the coming of unexpected news. Marriage and war between the faeires and elves of Ilkaphene. A land of magic, where flowers and fungi grow as tall as their castles. Where forest creatures live in harmony. A land of peace. A land where a fairy married an elf. A fairy princess marrying an elf princess at that. Eliora begins to hear rumors of the war. How it was destroying an ethereal land. And, worst of all, how women were being silenced to prevent more "corruption". As the war and its standards begin to seep into Elvangmort, changing Eliora's home into one of constrictions, hushed whispers, and worst of all, a hatred toward women, she knows that she must do something to save her freedom and the freedoms of those around her. *** This is my submission for ONC 2025! There are five kingdoms on the planet called "Earth." At a young age, the people living there would manifest and have their own elemental power. It is either fire, water, earth, ice, wind, or lightning. Earth is not a quiet planet to begin with. There are hundreds, or even more than a thousand, of people dying every day due to the fact that there are wars everywhere. The five kingdoms have been fighting and killing each other for centuries, and no one knows the exact reason; it still remains a mystery. Despite the wars happening, there is a prodigious academy in the middle of the planet. None of the kingdoms own this place. No matter which kingdom you are from, you can enter this academy as long as you are strong and powerful enough to pass its entrance exam. An exam that sheds blood. This magnificent academy was made to train intelligent and skilled students. This is not just an ordinary school. This is definitely not a fun place. Because this is "Zeus de Academy". - Kyla, a teenage girl, is one of those people who wants to enter this academy. She came from a small village that was destroyed by a single assassin sent by another kingdom. She believed that entering this academy would help her develop into a formidable fighter in the future, one who could help others and, most importantly, take down the assassin who had destroyed her home and killed her loved ones. Would she be able to pass its entrance exam and study at this prodigious academy? And if so, what might the future hold for her? Especially after finding an old book that can change her entire life and meeting new faces she can be with to strive.

In the shadowed alleys of The Kingdom of Necrovia, rebellion festers, and secrets writhe like poison beneath the surface. Persephone Pantazis, the hidden daughter of one of the rebellion's most powerful families, steps into a fractured kingdom on the brink of collapse. Sheltered for years by her father's iron grip, she is desperate to prove herself and escape the chains of her family's suffocating legacy. But the rebel army offers no sanctuary. Among its ranks is Damian Diamandiz-mysterious, cocky, and the last person Persephone wants to trust. They are enemies, bound by hatred and rivalry, yet every encounter only seems to fuel the fire between them. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Sometimes," he murmured, his voice dark and taunting, "it's better to stay curious." A pause. Then, softer-hungrier. "But if you really want to know... I wanted you here. On my team. Close to me." His fingers barely grazed my side, a ghost of a touch. "To break you." Another pause, a smirk I could hear in his voice. "To touch you." His breath fanned against my skin, heat curling down my spine. "To fuck you." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- TRIGGER WARNING: (don't say that I didn't warn you) 1. Death and violence 2. Sexual assault (SA) 3.
