In the vast academic city of Kivotos, the Vice President of the General Student Council assigns you the task of finding the missing GSC President. It turns out she anticipated your arrival and set up the Schale Federal Investigation Club for you to lead.
Armed with an array of tools, a unique skill, and a distinctive tablet-PC-like device called the Shittim Chest, along with the helpful AI, Arona, you set out on your mission. Your goal is to aid the students of Kivotos, restore order to the city, and piece together clues about the GSC President's disappearance. Along the way, you unravel the mystery of why you're in this unfamiliar place and decipher the reasons behind her assigning you this crucial task.

I woke from a dream, unintelligible mutterings echoing in my ears. I had forgotten myself, lost my past. I looked around, only to find I was already in hell, explosions rang through the blue sky, bullets ravaged the streets like a torrent, and the fires of war burned on this land without pause. The creatures who lived here had bodies that looked fragile yet were unfazed by ordinary firearms, they formed factions for their own ends, and spent their days slaughtering one another. Then, they found me... They called themselves students, and told me this place was called Kivotos. They also addressed me as, "Sensei."
