Macen Dubois returns for her final year at Hogwarts, the previous year having lacked the excitement of her fifth year, no surprise underground caches of ancient and possibly evil magic, no goblin plots, and not a single dark wizard accosting her through Hogsmeade.
There was only Sallow and the fights they now found themselves in to break up the monotony of everyday life as an average Hogwarts pupil. The pair had been thick as theives in fifth year, and now they could barely stand to be in a room together.
Hopefully, the new school year, filled with new friends and new dangers, may be able to mend the fissure between the two. Or maybe it will separate them forever.
