After trying (and failing) to find work, Amaya finds herself perpetually stuck in a jobseekers limbo. Tired of endless rejection emails and disheartened from a recently flunked interview for the tech job of her dreams, she decides to apply for a local bakery position. A secretary for a corporate diva was not what Amaya had in mind when she applied to JP Electrical but with a probation period of 3 months and the promise of promotion to the tech team, she is determined to make it out alive, even if it means running to work at 6am to get her boss's overly sweet coffee delivered in time.

Suddenly bounded by two contracts and determined not to re-enter the dark pit of unemployment, Amaya must try and navigate her new jobs without setting her favourite bakery on fire or getting found out by her grumpy but annoyingly attractive boss.
