Humans were disgusting to one like Zim. Any Irken could see that the species was disturbingly stupid and possibly not even worth the time. That's why it suprised him so much to find a human who detested her own kind. It was a foreign thought to someone like him, a proud member of his own race. So when he too, starts to learn things about himself and his kind, he comes to love something he never thought he would. But recently, things have been happening, both physically and emotionally. Things that could have a big effect on Zim's behavior.
