I had originally published these as separate stories, but I figure they'd be better if compiled into one place. There are several different genres, perspectives, and voices throughout. No two are exactly the same and none of them are connected (or are they?) no, they aren't, that was a joke). 

Here are some synopses:

History Will Say They Were Just Cowboys - Love is what makes life worth living, it's the light at the end of the tunnel, and it's what Rufus and Henry have for each other. But they have lives they must live apart from each other, and responsibilities they must uphold. 

My Mother Never - [I'll be honest, I'm bad at writing these synopses, and this story needs a revision, it's about a child and her mother, her mother loves her, right?]

A few years pass and Astra finds it difficult to deal with the trauma she experienced as a young child, but surrounded by friends and throwing herself into education she starts to heal, until she meets Jason. It's a story of a girl who goes through hardships and struggles in her everyday life. They punish her for things she has no control over, but then she faces it all. She is reborn from the ashes of the flames that had consumed her. She is stronger. But what if this isn't just some story that my grandpa came up with? What if something connected her to my family? What will happen now that the truth is out there? Why was this story so important? What will change? Who is this Phoenix Girl?
