A Collection of Short Stories

I had originally published these as separate stories, but I figure they'd be better if compiled into one place. There are several different genres, perspectives, and voices throughout. No two are exactly the same and none of them are connected (or are they?) no, they aren't, that was a joke).

Here are some synopses:
And Now? We Climb - River and Mike are on vacation, this time it's cliff climbing. I'm sure absolutely nothing whatsoever goes wrong at all! I'm sure they have a simply divine time!

History Will Say They Were Just Cowboys - Love is what makes life worth living, it's the light at the end of the tunnel, and it's what Rufus and Henry have for each other. But they have lives they must live apart from each other, and responsibilities they must uphold.

My Mother Never - [I'll be honest, I'm bad at writing these synopses, and this story needs a revision, it's about a child and her mother, her mother loves her, right?]

The Phoenix Problem - Bird's back. Damned thing, it just won't go away no matter what I do, no matter what I try. Oh well, winter's settling in, so the extra warmth can't hurt. The bird can stick around till the spring, that can't hurt right?
