"You weren't in your room." Her voice is hoarse, low with leftover tears.
"Needed a shower. Sorry, princess." I run my thumb along the back of her hand, soft, delicate under my rough skin. She sighs, her body heaving against me, the sound tired.
" 'S okay. I shouldn't have come, anyways." Guilt pulls at my insides, the uncomfortable feeling making me sick to my stomach.
"Always come."
"You didn't" She knows. She takes on my pain without my permission, needlessly curing me of whatever negative emotion bothers me time and time again, not caring at all what it does to her.
"I know." I don't have to explain it, she's thinking the exact same thing as me, she knows how I feel, how sick it makes me to let her in my head. "From now on." It's a quiet promise, I can't keep it from her now, so the best I can do is return her comfort when she needs it, help her forget everything, for a little while.

In which You and Leon are training for STRATCOM, trying your bests to not crack under the pressure, getting beat to a pulp pretty much daily, and dealing with an overly hateful Major, all while trying to navigate your own unusual relationship. A Leon Kennedy x Male story. Description: It starts in a mansion, windows shattering on all sides of a group of soldiers. One man within them was torn from his shackles of work, unable to escape what he assumed was his fate. With the aid of the BSAA, he can escape the line of work he is in, though part of him wonders if what he was doing was truly right. Given the choice, he becomes an agent working in the DSO, tasked with finding the monster who started his journey through hell. Note 2 from Author: Read it, I promise it is worth it. "You really think I'm gonna toss you through that window?" "It's the only way forward, Leon." My defiance is met with a defeated "fine" before he's standing in front of the window, hips hinging and fingers lacing together as he looks back at me. I move quickly, stepping into his hands with one boot before dropping to the other side, gun and flashlight in hand as soon as I hit the floor. The scene on the other side is quite ironic, a comically overweight ex-officer ignoring me in his quest to get to the snacks inside the box. A light chuckle sounds behind me, and I turn, gun straight between the eyes of the offender. "What the hell are you doing?" My whisper is outraged, but lacks the force I'd intended, his easy smile keeping me from scolding him too harshly. "I said I'd help you, not that I'd let you go in alone" His smile is crooked as he raises his hands in mock defeat, earning himself a small scoff before I lower my weapon. "Big guy's hungry, huh?" In which you and Leon must find a way out of the police station, which means you're stuck with the cute rookie cop all night.
