Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I quickly grabbed my keys and left the apartment to head towards my car. It was already dark outside, but it wasn't cold, I didn't need a jacket. I got in my car, and put the key in the ignition, when I looked in the rear view mirror and saw a pair of brown eyes. My eyes went wide, but I couldn't even blink before he laced his fingers around my throat from behind. A scream wanted to leave my lips, but he put his other hand over my mouth to muffle it. His lips ghosted over my ear as he whispered: "I wouldn't do that if I were you, Lucy."
