It is the end of Mario Odyssey and Mario has just rescued Princess Peach from Bowser yet again. Yet her behavior toward Mario has him very upset. Mario confronts Peach about her indifferent treatment toward him after he risked so much for her and discovers a dark secret she has been keeping for years.

This story touches on a dark/heavy theme and Bowser is made more traditionally evil.

Mario tries to avoid Doctor Mario. It wasn't that he disliked the Doctor, but he just found it very strange to be in the same room as the guy. He didn't understand how or why there was another him. On top of that, Mario is worried about Princess Peach; he feels like she doesn't want to talk to him every since the Odyssey. After an accident, he is forced to confront them both.

Mario knew Princess Peach for a long time. In fact, it felt like an eternity since he first met her. He wanted to propose to her so they could have a life together because why not? The timing couldn't be more perfect. However, one day, Mario finally gets ready to propose to Peach, when he finds out last minute that she's taking a vacation for a while. Bummed out but understanding, Mario awkwardly holds his question for when she comes back. Then it further escalates to a bigger problem -- Peach's family is wanting to permanently move to the location of their vacation. Bowser after turning into bowsette failed to get Mario has a boyfriend ends up kidnapping Luigi. And they unexpectedly get close. I made this because nobody does fanfic with Luigi x Bowsette and I ship a little so that is how this was made. And plus I think Mario is someone who would stay loyal to his girl. Which actually why there will also be alot of Mario x peach in this too. Not as much as Luigi x Bowsette but it is here.
