His eyes turn to me. The hazel is practically mocking, and even though I don't react, there's no way he doesn't notice the way my face warms when he stares at me a beat too long. Jo would kill me. It's enough to get it from Amy, but me too? Maybe I am being too harsh but it's better to be angry at someone than to pine after them. Especially as the man in question is so blatantly unavailable, it's too agonising to endure. ________________________________________ What if Laurie read Jo's letter? Would it change everything? Or would nothing change at all? Heartbreak and conflict ensues under the March family household but the question remains true-What does the future hold for these two who are destined to be, yet torn apart by fate itself?
