After losing her scholarship at Mary Geoise High School, Nami had to attend Grand Line High for her Junior year. She had a concise plan: rank the top of her class, resecure the scholarship, and get out. She couldn't afford to waste more time at a school that couldn't help her academic resume.
But after she is offered an opportunity to tutor the captain of a reigning soccer championship team, Nami fears that everything she worked so hard to accomplish would crumble by his hand. Or at least, that was what she initially thought.

when chopper innocently brought up a genuine question, " what are we gonna do after luffy becomes the pirate king", during their victory celebration against the defeat of kaido in the lawn of deck of The Thousand Sunny, it lead to another question... "who's gonna be luffy's pirate queen". This one question throws luffy and nami into a series of confusion, self-doubt and realization.
