He was 23, and she was 18. They stood together in the registry office, ready to sign the papers that would officially make them husband and wife. It was a secret marriage-only his friend and his girlfriend knew about it. He signed first, then handed her the pen with a smile, but her heart raced as doubt and insecurity clouded her thoughts. Was this the right decision? What if his father found out about the marriage? Would his family accept an orphan and a maid like her as a daughter-in-law? What if, after fulfilling his desires, he grew tired of her and abandoned her? She had no one to stand up for her, no one to turn to if things went wrong. Was it true love, or was he simply lusting after her? Why would a billionaire's son want her? He could have anyone-maybe even a movie star-but he chose her. Why? Despite her fears, her love for him was genuine. Slowly, she lifted her gaze to meet his, her insecurities weighing heavy on her heart. He took her hand in his, offering a gentle squeeze, then motioned for her to sign the papers. With a quiet nod, she did. His friends clapped and congratulated the couple, each one signing as a witness on the papers. Now, legally, they were husband and wife. But to the outside world, she was nothing more than a maid in his house.

"There is something wrong," I didn't realize I was staring until she turned and stared at me as well. "So you two having a staring contest?" Jacob rolled his eyes. "And yes Iris like I just said point 3 seconds ago there is something wrong. Of course there's something wrong. Why wouldn't there be something wrong?" His voice raising as I came back to earth and looked at him. "This place is bullshit and is just bullshitting me with all these bullshit drugs telling me their bullshit will help me get better when I'm not even sick!" He gasped. "I've been here just for a few months and I'm going to die. I've only seen the sun like ten times! Ten times. No wonder everbody in here is turning pale and gross. My TAN IS GONE. I'm a fucking snowman. Look how WHITE I AM!" He exclaimed. A few nearby people looked over along with their doctors. ~~~~~~~~~~ Iris Thomson was just a normal girl. Until she turned four years old, from then every night she'd be visited by a monster named the nightcrawler. It would physically hurt her and nobody else would ever see it but her. The tall rag doll looking monster with sewn shut eyes and the widest smile breaking into various people's houses, killing their pets, stealing etc. She was thrown into a crazy hospital where she met new friends and enemies. Many secrets about her monster is uncovered and this might be the start to a problem a lot larger than Iris had thought.

I nodded meekly, hoping that he would turn out to be a patient suffering from short term memory loss and would forget about detention but his next words confirmed how rotten my luck was! "Mr Spencer, Ms Wilson" he began in an icy calm voice," creating a raucous in the corridors right outside my office isn't exactly a heroic thing to do. Both of you have an option of either a week detention together or a two week detention together." My eyes shot wide open, "One week detention with him! That's practically impossible for humankind!" "I don't want to risk my bright IQ by serving detention with this psycho!" I heard Spencer jerk protest. "You have an IQ???" I looked at him, giving my best shocked expressions, "Is it the joke of the decade or joke of the century???" "Since you didn't react to my calling you a psycho, it confirms that you are one." he shrugged calmly. My brain was ready in an instant with a smart answer to that. I opened my mouth to give it back to him--- "STOP." The headmaster yelled, the pulse in his temple was throbbing red in fury. "The options are now changed to three week detention or four week detention." he muttered in anger. ***** Andrea Wilson was looking forward to having an ordinary life in school. But things don't turn out as planned when she accidentally gets into the bad books of the hot nerd in school. And when that popular nerd turns out to be her brother's best friend....well things don't really uncomplicate. Add to this generous amounts of classes, detentions, friends, enemies, crushes, heart breaks and Andrea is all set to have an eventful year in High School that she was for sure not looking forward to! ~*~~*~*~~*~ #7 in Teen Fiction 4.5.16

Romeo sat patiently, holding onto Specs' hand tightly. He watched the doctor's every step, nervousness set on his heart. "Hey, Doc", Specs greeted, trying to offer a smile. He looked better than Hell. "What'd you find?" Romeo wasn't sure Specs could see it, noting he couldn't see anything without his glasses on-he talked about having a headache earlier, and took them off for that reason-but the doctor had a rather solemn look on her face, as if she just learned that someone was going to die. Romeo prayed. "Doc?" "You're results came back", she sighed, keeping it brief. Romeo wanted to yell at her, telling her how he knew the results came back, but he was on the edge of his seat in fear. "I have some news." "What's he got?" Romeo sniffled, trying to keep in his tears and not think of the worse. "Pneumonia?" Specs had had pneumonia before, when he was a kid. He told the story all the time, and Romeo knew it made him feel strong. He'd always say he could beat anything, but Romeo also knew it wasn't that simple. "A few respiratory infections, yes", the doctor agreed, glancing back at her chart. That was fine. Specs could take antibiotics for it and be good as new. "But there's something else. Your white blood cell count was low." Romeo glanced at Specs, worried out of his mind. He knew it. He saw every sign and didn't do shit about it; it's his fault. He should've forced Specs to get checked out. He should've done better. "Cancer?" That seemed to be the worse option. Yet, the doctor shook her head. "Worse, perhaps." This brought pain to not only her but her mom. She was sure that her mom would never find happiness after what he did to them, but 2 years later she meet Brian and Brian has a son Jared. Jared is a player he is well know to be. But he never was a player. He use to be a sweet, caring, a gentleman and your dream guy. But things happen, people change you can say and that's what happens when he meet a little brunette who was more trouble then its worth. What happens when they meet? What happens when sparks start to fly? What happens when the people you wouldn't expect to see, you see? Or when Old feelings come back? But most important of all what happens when you fall in love with the wrong person?
