Sofie and Steve are finally together again and things couldn't be better. School is out and Steve has entered the adult world. He has a full time job and not a lot of time for his girlfriend. He's trying his hardest to be there for her, but there's only so much he can do. Sofie finally has it all. Her life isn't falling apart anymore, she's no longer a lab rat, Eleven is alive, Will is thriving, and Steve loves her. The only problem is Steve seems to be forgetting all about her. There's only so much more Sofie can push. After all, one summer can change everything.

Nick had always been protective of her brother, but how can she protect him now? AN: This will end up being a Steve x OC fic but I don't want to rush his character arch (which was so well done in the series). I'm also not going to focus on romantic relationships as I think it's important to explore familial love and relationships too (plus George is like 12 and I can't be doing with people shipping 12 year olds).Complete
