The fear of loss haunts everyone. Losing everyone you care about, everything you love, is a truly terrifying thought.
Sonic the Hedgehog is living his usual life in Green Hills. Eating chilidogs, beating Eggman's robots if he's up to no good, running around at the speed of sound. But one day during a fight with Eggman he gets saved by his rival, Shadow the Hedgehog. He didn't do it because he cared for him, but because he wants to put him down himself, giving him the heroic death he deserves.
But one day a great calamity occurred in Green Hills. Sonic was ready to sacrefice his life to save his friends, but he couldn't. With Shadow they escaped the burning Island, but they didn't remember where they were, and how they got there. All they knew is that now they have to work together to find a way back home and try to restore their home back to it's former glory.
