Danny Thompson is what some would call, one of the smartest and most popular students at high school. A Straight "A" student, exceller at tests, a brilliant tutor, and the lead actor of every school play, he could do it all. But when he forgot he had a test on a perfect weather day and forgot to study hard enough, he knew he had to get out of that situation quickly. This leads him to fake a sickness skip school, and later on, be invited by his longtime friend/partner in crime, Ferris Bueller to take a huge, massive day off in Chicago, alongside Ferris's girlfriend Sloane Peterson, and his longtime crush, Cameron Frye. Something like this would be described as "the greatest time of my life," but would this be worth it enough to skip a whole day of school just because of a test he didn't study for?
