Newt is the young Prince of the royal family. His father has been putting a lot of stress on him the past two years after he turned 18 about getting a wife. No matter how many times Newt told his father He didn't want to marry yet (and wasn't into women) his father didn't listen.
He ends up talking to his personal guard Thomas, who's always there to listen and is extremely loyal to the young prince, more so than the boys parents, the literal King and Queen.
Newt confesses he's sick of the kingdom and states he just wants to get away. Thomas said he'd help him get out, on the one condition, that he can come with him.

There are challenges, people get taken, and with the flare becoming airborne, anything can happen. Will they make it to the Right Arm or will WICKED beat them to it? Or maybe, death will. Hi I wrote this fanfic first for myself but I thought why not share it on wattpad for those who want to read it as well? Basically it's a Newt fanfiction set in the Maze Runner Movie Franchise. In this fanfic, Newt and Cara are already in a relationship but their situation threatens to pull them apart. Will their love stand the trials brought about by a dying world? Short Summary Newt, Cara, and the rest of the group are rescued from the maze. Cara is given her memories back right before her, Newt and the group escape the WICKED facility. Her loyalty to her friends wavers but she soon realizes that she no longer wants to work for WICKED despite Teresa trying to convince her otherwise. They try to escape the grasp of WICKED as they make their way through the Scorch in search of the Right Arm. Cara struggles with personal issues and traumas that have been brought back along with her memories. Newt tries to hold her hand every step of the way.
