Sodapop felt disconnected and almost sick all of the time and was very tired of being a middleman to his brothers all the time. Ponyboy was struggling with his sexual orientation and was scared what others would say when he realised he had fallen in love with, not even a girl, but Johnny Cade. Really just me trauma-dumping onto all of the Curtis brothers and adding Darrel's anger issues to the mix.

The Outsiders is not my book nor movie, I'm just using the inspiration from both to write this novel! The lines that come from the movie and the book in this novel belong to S.E Hinton!
