Moving into a big city and getting along is quite dificult for shy sixteen year old thelma lavange who had never been to the city.
Regarded as shy, akward,inrelevant and too quiet by her age mates thelma struggles to have a good time and makes friends but does not get any.
Fully drenched with loneliness, thelma finds herself in the wrong company of people and in the wrong hands who eventually puts her life at risk.
