The Lion King: The Tale Of Two Brothers

An AU where Kion and Simba are brothers instead of father and son. Kiara is their sister, but she is only a minor character

Once upon a time,

There were two brothers, and one sister. Simba was the eldest, Kiara was the middle and Kion was the youngest. They are inseparable, but one day an accident happened, an accident so tragic it ended the king's journey on the Circle of Life and separated Simba and Kion from their middle sister.

They grew up to be fine, young lions. Simba was carefree, and brave. Kion was cautious, and shy. Both were polar opposites. They were not as inseparable as they used to be. While Simba goes off playing with Timon and Pumbaa, poor Kion is patrolling the entire jungle (maybe a little exploring).

But that all changed when Simba's old friend Nala arrived, they feel the love tonight and poor Kion is pushed aside as the third wheel, what makes it worse is that when they go back they discover that Kiara mated a lion named Kovu and Kion is the only one without that precious loved one.

Here is where their relationship got rocky, Kion was pushed aside for the Great King Simba who is older than him, and they barely talk to each other, Kion gets ignored by all of the animals in the Pride Lands and he's almost ALWAYS compared to Simba, not getting credit for almost sacrificing everything so this land could live, and the Pride Landers say that Simba is the one who defeated Scar all on his own and Kion was just sitting back and watching.

Outraged by being compared to his elder brother all the time, and being compared to his elder sister Kiara who did nothing in the fight against Scar, he decided he had enough... and turned. Will the brothers' once inseparable relationship ever be repaired? That, my friends... is something only the Lions of the Past can tell you.
